Yunus Emre Institute Sarajevo Representation
Yunus Emre Foundation; To promote Turkey, Turkish language, history, culture and art; to present relevant information and documents to the benefit of the world; To serve abroad for those who want to receive education in the fields of Turkish language, culture and art; It is a public foundation established by Law No. 5653 dated 05.05.2007 in order to increase Turkey's cultural exchange with other countries and develop its friendship.
Yunus Emre Institute, as an organization affiliated with the Foundation, carries out cultural and artistic activities for the promotion of our country, as well as teaching Turkish to foreigners in the centers it has established abroad in order to realize the purposes of this Law, and also supports scientific studies.
Yunus Emre Institute, which started its activities in 2009, has more than 80 cultural centers abroad. In addition to the Turkish education provided in our cultural centers, Turkology departments and Turkish teaching are supported through collaborations with educational institutions in different countries. Many events are organized to promote our culture and art through cultural centers, and our country is represented in national or international events.
